Concrete
Concrete is often overlooked as a potential pavement surface, mostly because
of its lack of decoration. Plain concrete can be useful for uses such
as garage bases or dog kennels. By combining plain concrete with decorative
edging, such as brick, it can look quite attractive.
Modern concrete technology has led to the development of fibre reinforced concretes creating higher strength pavements. SRC Paving will advise you on the most suitable type of concrete for your project.
Tarmac
Tarmac, is often thought to be the cheapest method of surfacing a driveway
or forecourt, but for smaller areas it can work out quite expensive, particularly
the red tarmac which can be more expensive than block paving.
Tarmac is suitable for areas to be trafficked by vehicles, such as drives
and forecourts, and can be used for paths.
